The WLG were commissioned to design and build one of the largest projects the company
has ever undertaken. Kidspace in Croydon, London would need to include a huge multi
storey indoor play frame called 'The Orb', a seven meter high climbing assault wall
with a play maze on the interior, a nine hole adventure golf course, a toddler village
play area, a ball gun arena called 'Thunderball City', the 'Gauntlet' a timed obstacle
challenge, neon play zone, dark slide, play pod and a twenty metre long sky trail.
The whole structure was brought together with themed artwork, mural panels, themed
signage, talk tubes and an array of different materials from steel, timber, rubber,
fibre glass, perspex, plastic tubing and AstroTurf.
