WLG were commissioned to construct a mini replica of Leeds Castle within the grounds
of the beautiful castle located near Maidstone, Kent. The attraction has designated
themed areas following the nature of the castle itself. These include The Gatehouse,
The New Castle, The Maiden’s Tower, The Gloriette and The Revetment Walls. WLG created
nets, swings, climbing walls, crawl through tubes, elevators, ramps, heraldic stepping
trees, suspension bridges, spiral tube slides, high level walkways and many other
play features. WLG also payed close attention to the educational aspect of the attraction
by installing flags and shields with various historically accurate coat of arms.
The children and users would then have to find these designs and identify their
historic owner.
