WLG were commissioned to design and build an eighteen hole adventure golf course
at LEGOLAND Windsor. The new outdoor play attraction is based on a woodland theme
and features detailed LEGO models of woodland creatures such as squirrels, foxes,
moles, otters and a full size stag. The 'Mole In One' attraction is a joint venture
project between LEGOLAND Windsor and WLG, which will operate on a profit share basis.
During busy times the attraction can be broken down into two nine hole courses to
increase capacity. One of the courses has been designed to be fully wheelchair accessible.
Vicky Brown, general manager of LEGOLAND Windsor commented: "Although LEGOLAND is
specifically targeted at 3-12 year olds, we required an attraction which would be
fun, interactive and suitable for the whole family to enjoy. Adventure golf is an
increasingly popular attraction and, as we have previously worked with WLG, we know
the quality of their work is excellent"
